I'm glad I found your channel, gear is not outrageously priced! My kind of budget! Looking forward to the rest of your videos.

.........Good looking kit you have there......you might consider adding a bag of beef jerky, MRE food items like the entree', etc.....a pair of gloves not only for hand protection but also warmth...and a light weight fabric tarp to wrap yourself in or to erect as a shelter.....just an idea... Enjoy your kit and knife reviews....also campfire cooking.....Many thanks...be safe...

Blood Meridian is a great book! I think I've read it around five times. I try to read it at least once a year, along with Jack Kerouac's The Dharma Bums.

I've seen alot of packs and besides the drawing gear(cause I'm no artist) this is one of the best packs I've seen. If you had a cover option like a tarp and some basic food your set up would be ideal for me even to grab and go. I like that it's small too. So many people have like 70 pounds of gear and sure that's great until you pack it ten miles lol. Nice kit good vid, do take care.

Very very nice Pak the only thing I would think of would be having a good compass and a local map at least two or three hundred miles radius. If you would Post the websites for your bag plz.. I like to mention that you have some great videos keep up the good work, thanks for posting it does help a lot.

Nice kit. Do you have a preference between using either a backpack or a messenger bag? I used a messenger bag for a long time but found slinging it over my head to be more of an annoyance than just using a backpack and slinging it over one shoulder (90's high school style). I've been thinking about switching back. All these damn first world problems!

+Irish Zombie Nation i actually do the 90s style and sling it on once shoulder unless i gotta carry things or say im hiking where i need my hands, then i just carry my pack the correct way. thanks for the views and support, im excited about the outdoors arena ring.

Well I see it as a survival edc u seem to carry more of wilderness survival type of deal but its ok snd its still good ....anyways I would suggest seperating the urban and wilderness an keep it more of a get home bag or a bag that can get u home to were the rest of long term survival is at. well good vid an good luck man.

XLoneWolfxLoboX thanks man. yeah i spend a great deal outdoors so my gear leans more towards that side. i see your point in separating gear into two different bags but at the moment im jsut trying to carry a bag that holds a good mix between both categories. i have my everyday urban necessities like my drawing folder, books, pencils, but still have plenty of wilderness gear, since i often head outdoors right after work.

I absolutely love the Bear Grylls fire starter. The handles are substantial and it works perfectly. It’s worth it, gram weinies . I pack my tinder compartment with bits of waxed jute twine.

If I disagree about any survivalist or bushcrafter philosophy it is the ideas of redundancy. Take one knife, one fire maker, etc. and take care of and keep track of all your items. Move light in weight and move fast.
