Easy to add some more retention to the holster - With the gun in the holster, heat up the area inside the trigger guard in front of the trigger with a heat gun or blow dryer. Once warm, gently push with your thumb. All it needs is about 1/8" depression. Let it cool, then strap that baby on. Happy New Year!

If I get a Glock 19 especially here in CA, it will need trigger undercuts and finger grooves removed. If I get the bigger Glock, I’d need to do undercuts for it. Either way, I’d probably be spending about $1000 for the gun and just the frame work. My HANDS are BIG. Not how I want my first gun to cost… I want my first handgun to be 9mm and to be used as CCW in the future. Any other solutions?

How do you feel about sig p226 or 229elite? I can highly recommend both of those being the best 9mm pistols I’ve shot. If you don’t mind full metal body. As far as polymer guns go I can’t recommend anything but a Glock really. And you ideally probably want to keep Ccw gun as stock as possible. I’ve done sights and negative connector and that’s it.

@@fotomotoxxiii They look nice but they’re expensive. My cousin used a 226 before and he said its trigger is too long. Also, I think they’re too big and heavy for CCW I believe. The Springfield XD9 Service Model is the most accurate and comfortable CA compliant pistol I’ve shot so far. The most comfortable .380 pistol I’ve shot in CA is the Sig Sauer P238 HD.

@@nastymkfanif you are comfortable with the P238 you can get a P938. Same size but cambered in 9mm
