(Personal story read if you'd like) I was 12 years old when i heard about this event Electric Daisy Carnaval, back when it was still in Los Angeles, California (2010). I wanted to go because i love Electric Dance Music so much & to have an event specifically for that genre, it's been my dream to go. Its like, the same type of dream & feeling a little 8 year old kid has of wanting to go to Disneyland. I knew the event was ages 18+. So i needed to plan things out because i wanted to make my dream happen. Every year on specific dates that EDC was happening, i would go to my room, play Electric Dance Music on my earphones, put on some random visual/light video from youtube & dance to the music, imagining myself as if i was there. Heck, even watched the livestreams that KZbin would have for EDC. In the year of 2015, after i graduated from high school in the month of May, i wanted to go to EDC so badly, but I didn't have a job nor the money to spend at that time, especially because i barely put my foot into the real world. So i worked my ass off & having 2 jobs. Training myself to be good: financially, emotionally, and spiritually, even with lots of stuff happening around me that put me down, and even after "coming out of the closet". But I still fought my way to hang on because i wasn't going to give up, i want my dreams to come true. I've been going to raves non stop since 2016, having the experience, especially taking a huge hand fan to share that cool breeze with myself & everyone else around me. THIS YEAR, i am turning 21 & EDC being next year. Sadly I need to sacrifice all of the events that i love going to by not going. I have been saving up all of my money, having a HUGE amount of patience, Planning it all out & having the money! I get to finally make one of the most biggest decision. Making one of my personal dreams come true. I get to finally say to the world, and to those who tell me its impossible with everything that is going on: I am going to Electric Daisy Carnival 2019!!!! Did my first in Orlando 2016. Place was wild, but it doesn't even compare to how amazing LV was. Went in 2017 on leave from my command and had the best time of my life there. It's impossible to describe how intense it is walking through the gates and seeing it all and just knowing that you're ACTUALLY there. Have a great time!

So I can't recall how young I was when I first saw something about EDC - probably early teens - but I distinctly remember seeing it and knowing in my heart and mind that I had to go. It became an obsession of mine, this festival where reality can be forgotten, however briefly that may be. I was already somewhat of an EDM junkie from tracks on games and I slowly got more and more into the EDM scene in general. But despite making a ton of little shows (Infected Mushroom, Flux Pavilion and Doctor P at a Circus Records show, etc.) I never had the chance to get to EDC. Fast forward through high school to 2015: I signed up for the Navy, cruised through training and got sent overseas to a ship out of Europe. I had steady income and a lot of other EDM fans around me but I had forgotten about EDC for the most part. Then my friend from training who just happened to be on the same ship mentions that tickets for EDC Orlando 2016 were on sale. I told him I couldn't do it, no money and no time, but then I realized that I DID have the money and the time happened to work out due to our holiday leave encompassing the dates. That same day I bought my ticket, the ticket for my girlfriend at the time, the hotel and the flights - literally everything. I finally got the chance to make it. My girlfriend only just managed to make her flight. Both my friends linked up with us at the hotel since they had a room right down the hall, and between the four of us (all being first time EDC goers except my friend from my command) we made some truly unforgettable memories. Top it all off, that night I proposed right at the end of the festival during Hardwell on main stage. Lucky me, she said yes and we went again to EDC LV 2017 where my (now) wife really fell for EDM. It's been ages since that time. I've worked my ass off at this command, my wife's missed me being home, but lo and behold, the timing has worked out one more time. I'll leave this command five days before this drops. My tickets are at home waiting. The hotel is booked. The flights are set. I'm enlightening those who haven't gone nowadays - this time being my sister who has NEVER been to any live shows or festivals in her life and my friend from third grade who helped make EDM such a big part of my life, along with my wife again and my friend from my command who helped get me to EDCO 2016. I've been waiting for this celebration since the last one ended along with probably every other headliner. I'm excited beyond belief to have the chance to party with you all again and maybe introduce my little pack of newcomers to a world that I can't even put into words. I can't wait to see you guys under the electric sky!

No lie this brought me to tears. Having all these flashbacks of all the timeless memories made there, I wouldn’t change it for anything. This’ll be my sixth year consecutively going, 2014 my life changed for the better after my first experience under The Electric Sky.
