all of you complaining that this is a commercial, the intro showing the fire, volcanos, storms, the theme for mainstage this year is kinetic gaia, or mother earth, and those complaining about the dubstep and trap, get over it, edc has 8 stages, youll find your favorite genre at one of the stages. its just a trailer.

Louie Gonzalez I don't even like this music but I think the trailer is awesome! People like me from Vermont like to see what it's like there besides loud music. My 18 year old loves this stuff and I shared it to him just now. Wish I was there though. Absolutely breathtaking! What alot of work getting that set up! I'm in awe. Only been to Vegas one weekend couple years ago to see Michael Jackson Cirque de after his death and it was only 40 degrees and windy! December. Needless to say, I never got to see Vegas or the strip and racetrack!

Old school ravers want the old house music back from where everything started, they want edc too be back like how it use to be in LA. I honestly think the variety of music that has been coming out for the past years has expanded edc and other music festivals with more to offer at raves. I'm an old school electronic head going back to edc when it was back in LA were it use to be 16+ and honestly I never felt that the rave community has been as closed as it has been till now. The love, the culture, the creativity that is put into festivals is unbelievable and I couldn't be any happier, & I cannot forget the different types of music from trance, to house to dubstep is all love. I respect what Pasquale is doing for the rave community bringing nothing but positive vibes into my life and into others. PLUR... I'll see everyone at EDCLV2017

I've always appreciated how insomniac strips away the superficial and commercial side of festivals. this is the biggest festival in north america and yet I've never felt like edc was about the hype or money, even in their trailers. it feels like theyre genuinely trying to share a culture/lifestyle, rather than say showcase how hot their girls are or the big name acts to draw people in like, 'oh shit dj snake, david guetta are on the fucking trailer so now i must go.." Their lineups don't have the most popular names in bigger font. their production and stage designs are all about optimizing experience in the moment rather than whats most instagrammable. the focus isn't the artist himself, but the complete audiovisual creation that aids the dancefloor. they don't give a crap about putting the biggest 'headliner' last/prime timeslot especially if it doesn't fit well into the vibe/energy of the stage. pasquale even admitted to losing tons of money for several years, bc he had a passion for creating the best festival period regardless of cost. insomniac does it right, and im very happy for their success. anybody like me whos been a long time patron of their events: escape, nocturnal, beyond, etc would understand. you just can't say the same for events like ultra, coachella, hard. its now 2017 and I'm ready to continue my adventures at EDC

I disagree I think EDM music in general has gone the exact opposite way. When EDM became "official" dubstep (dj's like Skrillex) took over. Since then, EDM has definitely transitioned more towards House music which is what I listen to all the time. Im personally not a fan of dubstep at all. House and trance music are definitely starting to take over. Avicii's supposed to be coming out with one of his best albums this year, according to him. Gryffin personally is my favorite DJ. Some of Martin Garrix songs now are pretty chill also. Kygo is also the perfect summertime DJ. I like anything that'll put me in a good vibe.

Marcos Beltran yeah, it might help a little. It definitely won't stop the underaged from sneaking in or using fakes though. Plus, I feel like Insomniac would lose out on a lot of money if they did that since those freshly 18 kiddos can't wait to go to their first rave, lol.

Terrible music. What happened to the big euphoric music vibes where you guys had a MainStage that was freaking huge??? I'm watching 2013 and 2014 trailers and getting nostalgic....... Insomniac step your trailer game up to 2013 standard because that was a masterpiece festival trailer that still brings tears to my eyes today. Not kidding.

Adam Dallas Yeah exactly thats why its bad advertising. EDC trailers used to capture the essence of EDC and at the same time make you want to go. It told you a story. I consider the EDC 2013 trailer a masterpiece of advertising and me and all the other ad agency coworkers watch it in awe. This one is disappointing and makes me feel nothing
