I opted for and bought the Confidante primarily for the pointier tip, all-belly edge and no jimping. I love the thin flat-profile Hi-Viz G10 handle. And that crowned exposed tang is a classy touch. It's my absolute favorite EDC compact fixed blade and the primary companion to all of my large fixed blades. Cheers...

Damn, two very sexy blades. I actually need one in the chuck box I keep in the taco. Really dig how that Overland makes it looks like it'd be super good at slicing and dicing dinner up,the way the blade and handle angle through from the thumb to the cutting edge. Really looks like you could slice a cinder block if you needed to, lol.

Been looking at the overland for a while now just haven't pulled the trigger yet when I saw the new knife and I'm torn. Would be edc some and I also hunt/fish so the new may work better tho I love the blade shape on the overland!

@@gabelewis6044 I own 14 of their knives... Known for their hunting expertise and target market. However, they have a good depth of universal knives. I really love their Culinary knives. They also team up with other Montana-based companies for their leather goods, cutting boards etc. They make a quality product. They are some all-around good guys. You will be happy. They also have a generational program and will sharpen/replace knives if they need to be sharpened or repaired no fee, just postage paid.
