Tundras SUCK! 2023 V6 with 8300 miles suffered a complete engine failure - engine debris or something. Last I’d heard there were 102,000 vehicles affected. Won a NYS Lemon Law versus Toyota Motor USA. Junk. Manufacture had to buy it back. You can have them. Good luck to you. Hope it doesn’t fail when you’re on a trip. 👎👎

we got a little surprise powder day last friday at keystone which was lovely. I think The issue is vail resorts don't care about Denver "locals", were about the only locals the mountain will get since no one can actually afford to live in those towns. We buy the yearly pass, drive up, eat something we brought or eat in frisco or somethin, then head home. We really dont give the mountain much money compared to those coming in from other states/countries. Not being able to camp anywhere near the resort is kind of a "F you, spend money at our hotel" move. Vail does not wanna cater to us, were not their customers, were an annoyance that happens to live near "their" mountains. Anyways all that to say front range locals should get a car hostel going. buy a big lot in silverthorne, charge $15/spot, throw a porta-potty there, have a powder curfew so people dont trash the place and party it up too much, maybe some spots with outlets. Id invest in that. Its time for Coloradans to start taking the mountains back from vail

Hear me out. Don’t say no right away. Shave that damn beard off as part of your New Year’s video. I’m sure your lovely partner would embrace the change for a while. Loving this content lately on here. One little nag, it seems a little heavy on the gear review stuff and lighter on the experiential video content. Like even you and your bud in this one, cooking steaks or something might have engaged. And love how you outline your vehicle mods and specs on your sights. Don’t know anybody else in the space that does that as much.

Thinking about putting one in my Cabin in Bandera Texas, need something that will run all night and not use a ton of propane. Don't feel safe running Mr. Heaters at night although I have an old Dyno Glow that has glass in front that works well.

Why do I have the feeling that when I look these up, they're going to be insanely overpriced for what it is??? 😂
@TalonSei2 күн бұрын
Cheaper than most skis and snowboard setups.
@flacktastic212 күн бұрын
@TalonSei yes and no, if you're buying straight up 2025 MSRP, then yes, they're cheaper, but you can pretty much get a legit 2024 setup for the same price... Most people already ski or snowboard. If they're going to add this third sport, the prices have to come down... Otherwise you know people will just buy your beloved snow blades... 😬
@flacktastic212 күн бұрын
@TalonSei just bummed, I would love to try the new evolution of the sport, but definitely can't justify the price tag, on ski bum $$$... If you ever want to rip Aspen, hit me up! 🤘

Seems like a lot of expense to just put the same gear that could easily be secured on the back seats in this specific application. That being said, great vid and cool product!

@MrLugansd2 күн бұрын
Agreed about overnight camping. I've found a few resorts in CA that allow it but don't advertise it. Also having a Snopark pass is a good backup plan, but not all parks allow it.

@@TalonSei You have an aluminum hoop/plate 6 inches from your back. I worry about an accident pushing that plate towards the driver or the diver getting pushed back into the plate. Unlikely but I've gotten life long injuries from a car crash so I'm bias/paranoid.

I realize it's a 4th gen, but I am wondering... How much room do you have between the platforms? This is an interesting setup. Have to check these out.

In this example, 20% of the seat does not have a platform. You are seeing two 40% solutions. In the near future we'll be offering a 60%.

ho uncomfortable is it to leave those little tabs on the car seat anchors? I feel like passengers would not like that on the lower back.
@TalonSei4 күн бұрын
You can pop them off with your hands once they are installed. The first install is the “hardest” just because they are new.
@63_Industries2 күн бұрын
Yeah, you probably want to remove the glass filled nylon anchors from the isofix attachments for best results. This is accomplished with a twist.

Thanks for the great video! Coincidentally I just purchased a KARGA Over-the-Seat system for my 3rd Gen Tacoma last week! It should arrive soon and I’m psyched to install it and have a level platform in the back seat without doing a full seat delete (people and the dog do still sit back there).

Colorado got a couple epic snow storms in November that allowed the ski resorts to open a lot of runs earlier than normal. I agree, I really wish there were _some_ place to car/van camp overnight. I've been itching to use my Tesla camp mode. Staying overnight in the mountains during core season can be extremely expensive even at crummy motels. I will say that early season can be a great deal - I got ski in/out on Breck peak 9 (Beaver Run) for $148/night in early December - there is a parking fee and I think a resort fee, so probably close to $200/night all in. Still, for ski in/out, it was a good deal.
