I have a Ganzo Firebird, that I purchased from a recommendation on another KZbin channel. I really enjoy carry it also. The action is smooth, the lock out is secure and it holds an edge fairly well. Not bad for a budget knife. Thanks for the video.

Pete's a great knife guy. He has one heck of a collection and is always willing to engage in comments. Nice pocket dump John, great choices too. I keep 3 or 4 modern folders in the edc drawer and one of them is a Ganzo also (FH51, D2 steel) it's one of my smoothest wheel knives. Thanks for sharing my friend. BTW, I have another "project sheath" need in mind if you would be interested in due time, no hurries no worries.

Those clips are great! I don’t like much sitting in the bottom of my pocket and a clip will keep the knife vertical and easy to grab.

Great dump! Made me think bout upgrading my SAK. For 20 years been carrying some type of delica ( 90 percent ) . Other Spydercos if not. Depends where I’m going.. what the day looks like. Then if working around the house may have an old 5 inch 110 ish . ( retired). Usually have the tinkler sak . I am use to working in the dark . Elevator maint .. well I always had a flashlight on me for work .. a couple in each car.. n married off daughters ( I check ) ( n ck on thier edc knife )( they lose em and I always replace them.. don’t tell me to stop… I make a habit picking up used or new delicas for that or gifts). I just can’t get use wanting to carry a flashlight no mater how small. ( though I’m thinkin bout those sak scales) .

I agree ( for the most part ) for most folks. And I use to carry one all the time ,, not because of watching one of my favorite u tubers nut n fancy prob 🤔15 years ago when he was talkin bout edc carry including flashlights n ‘other dangerous things’ , but because of my job ( service industry - working in the dark ) sometimes edc a head lamp hanging around my neck and on my belt… it’s just now in retired life , mostly around the house … well got flaslights all around the house. And even though I have newer vehicles than I usually had while raising a family I keep two in vehicles at all times and when making trips I bring a better one that would work better but not good to leave long periods in Georgia heat..for extra roadside help. Just different strokes for dif folks .. I do carry a tactical pen … ALL THE TIME even though I carry …. other stuff … (I just don’t have a light attached to it. )But technically that wouldn’t be what most would feel would count . Yeah in pocket dumps I would not score 100 per cent. And I would not count a SAK flashlight… though having one of those or miniature keyring sure helps at night trying to get your right key if you got more than one… I didn’t take it the wrong way… if circumstances changes slightly I’ll start wearing one again.
