KOIAI is my favorite new band since at least 2001! I like all their songs. And you’re so right. These girls have all the skills in the book. And they clearly like a lot of different music, which enhances the skill of any musician. But what blows my mind the most is how good Lisa-X & Co is at writing songs. Really phenomenal. Great reaction guys! Excellent channel!

@@ericifune5543indeed. KOIAI have many different meanings in Japanese. One being Deep Indigo(name of the first EP) another meaning is Deep love(second EP) and another meaning is Come See Me(so That might be the name of the third EP, but the song itself will DEFINITELY be on it:-)

They are all very talented musicians. The other guitarrist Hazuki is from a band that has gotten some notoriety in the metal scene lately called Nemophila, and while they don't have an official bassist, the one who recorded for this song and have also supported them on some of their live shows is Wakazaemon, she plays on Marty Friedman's band and her own band East of Eden. Their music seems quiet intriguing, blending a lot of genres fluidly, can't wait to see where they take it.

@@eddianproject Early last year, I saw Nemophila live in Dallas, Texas. Hazuki is a fantastic guitarist and Nemophila is a great live band. Fun Fact: Wakazaemon is a left handed bassist. I still do a double take when I see a video of East of Eden.

As a child of the 80's I picked up on the Toto vibes immediately. Definitely a 'super group' but there is so much talent in Japan right now I feel there are several 'super groups' right now The other guitarist in this song Hazuki is from NEMOPHILA which is my favorite J-rock/metal group right now. Stunning band this with all star cast Note other guitar is The mighty Hazuki equally as talented as Lisa-x who also plays in the again all-star cast of Nemophila give them a try chaps i haven't seen you do them . I first thought Steely Dan when i heard this Koiai but you should check out A new picture by them and then Some Nemophila Try Rise official live or any thing realy by them its all great .Japan with the Ladies are saving Rock for the world there are many more great mostly all girl bands to see .Rock on

This is a fantastic and rather sophisticated song. Next, try A NEW PICTURE. It has a completely different sound. And KANADE’s drumming is a treat. When reading Japanese words written with Roman characters, each letter represents exactly one sound. Pronounce the /e/ in KANADE as you would in “bed” or “Ted.” Another recommendation is the re-configured HAGANE (samurai sword-grade steel), with young guitar phenom SAKURA YOSHIDA and JUNNA on drums. Watch the videos for HERO TIME and LIFE GOES ON. Please, please, please don’t compare KOIAI to Toto.
