This band is phenomenal. This song was pure classic rock. My introduction to Koiai was the live version of "New Picture" which is an amazing song combining three different genres (which you would think would not go together) but the song is absolutely brilliant. I knew that Lisa X and Hazuki were exceptional guitarists but 30 seconds into a "New Picture" and I was asking myself "who is the drummer?" Wow, Kanade is a rare talent. Actually Koiai is a rare talent. Very smart song writing and of course extreme talented musicians.

I love this band. They bring me back to the days when music was better, for me. This song has a Van Halen feel, take "Top Of The World"

Wakazaemon is the bassist. Still a member of East of Eden as far as I know. Also Marty Friedman's touring bassist. I think she is not a permanent member of KOIAI

There are more but some of the early tracks ant the same lineup .This lineup are just out of this world . Yes to Nemophila And yes Hazuki is just as good Lisa-x Have a look at them two doing there Ibanez Duties' type this in to YT Li-sa X and Hazuki play their Koiai songs medley and Hazuki she plays Michael Schenker Song - Into The Arena. And yes to Nemophila there are just stunning songs and covers on there YT i recommend any of them they are the most promising heavy rock /metal band right now.
