What should you learn as a beginner to come closer to playing like EVH?
@badbrad7 ай бұрын
Give me an idea of where you're at and I'll try and answer the question. I've got a tutorial on the Pentatonic scale and you should def. learn that in all five positions. You can watch and learn that here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mZdWSCgbSqftU. Develop your picking by doing this exercise. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5C5lIqwatxjfdU. These two would be a good start of having a platform to build on.

Make a lesson on how EVH finger tapping sounds bubbly and a bunch of EVH hammer out of nowhere notes. EVH calls them hammer out of nowhere notes when string skipping

Haven’t heard about that one will have to investigate. Thanks for the tip!

Edward never called then any such thing. I call the notes you are referring to as either “hammer-ons from nowhere” or “silent hammer-one”, but Edward NEVER spoke about those notes in any interview.
