I would like to see your test of how the jacket feels if you're sitting like driving a car. You said you wanted it also for 'getting around town' and I assume you would be driving some. Maybe others would like to see that feature tested. Thanks, nice review.

I can definitely make that video if you’d like! I’m actually wearing it today and just parked. Mine has plenty of room and has no restrictions at all. I truly love this jacket. The price to quality is outstanding. Most of my gear is Patagonia (and I love it) I’d say for a lower cost you are getting a very well thought out product.

One more quick note. It does get too hot in a car for me. I live in the Bay Area California so it’s rare it’s colder than 50 F during the day. The jacket breaths extremely well though so even in a 70 degree car, I won’t really even break a sweat.

Don’t know if you indicated that the zippers are YKK Aqua-zippers to help keep water out and there is an adjustable elastic waist band.

Great point! It’s been a year now and the jacket still looks and feels brand new. Zippers are of excellent quality and the jacket has a very well thought out design.

I have Eddie Bauer evertherm 2.0 medium and it fits a bit loose because of the comfort fit, would you suggest going for a small or a medium again? I like slim fit jackets

Yes I’d definitely recommend if you seem to be in between sizes to size down if you’re looking for a more tailored fit. It is also more of a straight cut.

Sorry man, I didn’t realize I didn’t have notifications on or that anyone would care about this review 😂. I wore this jacket on a solo camping/ fishing trip for 4 days. I had a mid layer of merino wool on and the temps ranged from 10 to 25 degrees and I was toasty warm. Sometimes too warm.

Hi Ken, I haven’t had a chance to take it down that far. The closest I came to that was -12 C. I was hiking and very warm
