Eddie B Sr. had an outstanding voice/talent and had THE BEST BAND around during his career! I have heard him play live many times and could hear his CD's all day long and NEVER get tired of them. He is as GOOD as ANYONE can EVER GET in the last 25 yrs with his great Chicago Polka sound! Thanks for the great memories...Eddie...We LOVE YOU!

When Senior left the stage, a piece of the polka music scene died. First seeing him in the 1960s, I am proud to call him a friend. This video is yet another great reminder of just how great Eddie and the Versatones were. And, in 3 more months, the Versatones will officially be retired.

Eddie certainly had a great voice and always had a great band! Talk to guys today and they will tell you he was a great band leader to play for! Eddie you will always be remembered as the standard when it came to Polish Chicago style Polka music! Sto Lat!

R.I.P. Eddie, you will be missed. I remember seeing him play at Bel-aire days on Archer ave with my parents. Dad was a bartender every year and Mom worked in the kitchens or ticket booths. What a wonderful time. I miss the music and my parents very much. Whenever I hear Eddie, it takes me back to those wonderful memories.

Encore un grand musicien de la Polonia qui vient de nous quitter , pour retrouver au ciel tous ces anciens musiciens disparus , qui on fait vibrer notre Poloninité au son de leur instruments aussi bien aux USA qu'en France .

Pulaski? That's up in Michigan. I know folks from there. These guys are awesome. Makes me homesick for the coal regions of Pennsylvania where I grew up.
