Eddie Glaude Jr. is the William S. Tod Professor of Religion and African American Studies at Princeton University and Chair of the Department of African American Studies. He is the author of the award-winning book In a Shade of Blue: Pragmatism and the Politics of Black America and co-editor with Cornel West of African American Religious Thought: An Anthology. His latest book is Democracy in Black: How Race Still Governs the Soul of America. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Morehouse College, a master’s degree in African American studies from Temple University, and a PhD in religion from Princeton University. His scholarly pursuits and public service have been informed by his years growing up in the coastal town of Moss Point, Mississippi.

Republicans will only treat him the same way they treated Allen Keys. You're not saying, "Who is Allen Keys?" He was a Black Candidate for President for at least 5 elections. They refused to allow him to be in any debates. At one point he was going to a debate the police picked him up and took him to the junk yard and left him there. After debate ended they returned and took him back to the airport, told him to never come back.

Thanks Dr. , great answer to the questions especially the unpopular response to the Pres. Obama years in office but you presented the receipts or evidence of Black people doing worst here in the US. Also eventhough whites have begun to see their quality of life dwindle especially the working and middle class I don't envision them viewing the situation as a call to unify with others not to mention Blacks. A tremendous amount of time, money and systematic "real" education in my opinion would have to take place for that to happen.

Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Jesus Christ was our perfect example back to God. He was baptized and received the Holy Ghost and we must be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. He was holy and walked in righteousness and we must be holy and walk in righteousness. He died and rose again, and we must die to the things of this world and rise to walk in the newness of life. He prayed to the father showing us how to pray to the father.
