PURE WRESTLING GOLD!!! Rare footage of Bobby Davis, a young and agile Dr. Jerry Graham, tv announcer Ray Morgan with ring announcer Jimmy Lake-plus a near riot at the end. Thank you so much for posting this trudgen's gem. These guys could really get the heat.

Love the EG move; distract Ref from the choking by threatening a punch in the ribs. Fun.

Jerry Graham's springboard leap over the top was probably originated right here. When The Doc trained me he insisted that I learn that move and told me all pro wrestling was going to become high-flying in the future and Japan's UWF in 1985 was the groundbreaker. Yet here is Jerry more than 20 years earlier innovating moves like that. He and Rocca were good drinking buddies and they'd try to outdo each other coming off the ropes. Rocca's death hit Jerry hard. He was drinking heavily and raising hell before that, however. RIP Doc. You'll never be forgotten. I know because I loaded up my new book "The Mat, The Mob and The Music" with stories of Jerry and my escapades. Watch for it soon on Crowbar Press.

Is it me or is this handheld footage of a TV showing the match? It looks kinda out of focus
@0047523 жыл бұрын
it was filmed off a tv screen, like a kinescope, which adds to the presentation.
