Deep down everyone gets scared after watching Eddie lifting 500kg we don't wanna loose this man but he did it... He's an absolute animal 💢😤😞
@reeceburns11311 ай бұрын
That 500kg lift is just something else. Sure, someone broke it since, but that moment, lifting it, holding it there, looking around as though to say "I'm the best in the world, I WILL enjoy this!" is just something only Eddie could do.

I think Eddie Hall is my favorite powerlifter even over the mountain. The man held that deadlift until his nose bled and he blacked out. Now if that's not dedication I don't know what is! Truly inspiring to see! This man can move mountains! Love his confidence too when he said I know I'm the strongest man in the world...

I think he kept holding to it to make sure it is a valid lift. It is heartbreaking and truly inspiring at the same time. You feel pity for the man and respect & admiration at the same time. Truly inspiring. If we could only do this with our own lives. What a champion.

I'm absolutely amazed by the strength and shocked by how dramatically it affects them; 5 seconds in and my mans nose is bleeding and he's on the mat with people holding his limbs up. Makes me wonder if I could even roll that much weight across a mat let alone try to lift it. Even at the lesser weights these guys are all beasts.

That small interview before n°2 is a really good point and proof that Eddie Hall is indeed the beast. Having world records and finishing ahead of guys whose genetics would logically put them ahead because of their big difference in height and therefore ease of getting more muscle mass, longer muscle, more range of movements & agility. You can see it in Brian Shaw & Halfthor Bjornson - their muscle distribution has nothing in common with Eddie Hall and other smaller lifters, they are way more proportioned while having an overall bigger weight. Yet he gets to almost the same weights himself and beat them / get record. A truly incredible athlete of insane determination and work.

One of the many things I love about the people competing in these competitions is that they can rightly say they are the world’s strongest man, but at the same time they can recognise each of their fellow athletes as also being the world’s strongest man. Because they know that if the competition was ran 10 times over the results wouldn’t remain the same

His physique *appears* to have given him the advantage over Thor in the Atlas stones : his sternum is already up against the stone as soon as he squats into position and extends his arms. Shorter amount of time to adjust his back. It's nice to see that lower center gravity work its magic, with the few advantages it has over being taller.
