Anyone can pick a "winning" side, a Man U in times gone by, a Man City now, but picking a side like that is like turning up at the casino and cheering for the house. Have some character, support your local team through thick and thin. It's way more fun than to just watch on TV from hundreds of miles away in your replica top, pretending you're invested in this somehow when you're not, because all you've done is just picked an already successful side because you want that reflected glory to compensate for your lack of character. So the "you've won nothing" stuff is really pointless, that's not why we go to the match.

I don't support Newcastle, I support Everton, but Eddie is a fascinating coach, he's very intelligent, bright and interesting, he has a great tactical insight. I enjoy watching Newcastle and their style of play. I really hope he succeeds at Newcastle. I hope Newcastle give him the time to do so, as it will take more time than usual due to FFP. One of the best managers we've ever had at improving individual players .. forget the saudis the amount of players that are still here pre-saudi money and they were fighting relegation winless nearly half way through a season and now hes got a lot of those same playees in the UCL and then Europe again in his 1st 2 full seasons .. absolutely unbelievable and hope hes the man the take us a trophy and become an legend up here

Eddie took Bournemouth from the bottom of league 2 to the premier league and kept them there for a good few years, thats like Leicester winning the premier league it’s an incredible achievement.. then took Newcastle from the bottom of the league to champions league football just like sir Bobby did🤷♂️ Eddie will go down as one of the greatest managers in history I’ve got no doubt about that and we’re here for the journey, long may it continue🖤🤍🖤🤍

Absolutely delighted whenever I get the chance to hear Eddie speak in interviews like this. Although I may be bias in saying this, but he is one of the most respectable managers in world football. We’ve had over 25 injuries this season and he hasn’t complained once. We’ve been hit with champions league football and extra fixture congestion for the first time in 20 years (minus the 12/13 campaign as it was UEL). And that’s not even mentioning what he’s done ON the pitch for us. Wouldn’t want anyone better at my football club 🖤🤍
