I doubt they would have gone back for a fourth time, if they did not believe they would get him, Palace now have a decision to make, if they move the goal posts, then we walk away. The fact we have preserved shows how highly we rated him, i now expect him to come.

If Guehi signs then to me, it won't feel like a triumphant signing. Yes, Parish has to get the max he can, but it feels like we've been humiliated by him. We are all accepting that Guehi is a top player however, he's only recently become that highly rated. There's still an element of risk & despite what you say, his success is NOT guaranteed so let's hope he flourishes under Eddie.

We're getting upset at Guehi's price, but whether or not we agree that he is worth £65million. But thats what Palace have set for him, but we all lost our collective minds when Man U low-balled us for Ashworth, and if even the rumours of Isak leaving for less than his worth. I dont think we should be playing that much for a CB when we still desperately need a quality 1st RW, and Murphy as a solid backup. If signing Guehi means we routinely start knocking on the Cartel's door for European Football, we'll think this a decusive signing.
