Maiden, and Eddie, are a band you can walk away from for 30 years, and come back and still feel like the same fan as when you left! I quit listening in '90, picked them back up with BoS and caught 2 live shows since. Legends. Grunge and the lack of Riggs covers sealed the fate back then, but Maiden will always prevail!

I heard Eddie was molded after Dave Murry. They said that is what he would look like dead. If you compare I believe this to be true. I heard this so many times.

The fact that a lot of metal fans care about Eddie as much as the band shows that there is no mascot that comes even remotely close to the legendary Ed the head. Eddie has its own lore. Case closed.
