Many a summer day sitting in my 66 CHEVY in my PHILADELPHIA neighborhood passing around bottles of Tiger Rose, Boonesfarm and joints. THIS song would come on AS CLOUDS OF POT FLOATED FROM THE CAR WINDOWS; and made me pause and wonder about our future and ask the question BLACK PEOPLE ARE WE GOING UP IN SMOKE? The response was always the same. "WHAT ARE YOU BABALING ABOUT BRO" ? "PASS THE WINE" ...... OH TO BE 18 AGAIN.

Eddie's early motown solo output was pretty solid. You may wanna check out The "My people hold on " original lp as well. I also have his ultimate collection motown cd and it is definitive. There's also a rare 2 cd compilation of the Temptations called The Temptations "One on one", it features the solo output of the group. It has David Ruffin and Dennis Edwards best stuff too.Good hunting.. Peace!

Music Box, NorthLake Hotel, etc...I've earned the right to unleash!
