I just now discovered this vid. (And this actually happened) - Just prior to finding it, I must have watched parts of some Van Halen favorites - approximately 3 to 5 videos - of other covers, and kept thinking "This sound is too sharp" or "this sounds wrong, it should be more mellow". However, to my delight and excitement, I barely made it 30 seconds into this song and thought "Finally, someone who NAILS IT!" Thank you soo much for this tribute. Any True Van Halen fan would be very proud!

First off: Dare I invent a new word - That was Vantastic! This song is in my top 10 Van Halen songs. The video, with the Blue Angels, is my all-time favorite music video. My Dad used to be in the Navy. Top Gun is his favorite movie. Anyway, whenever I hear this song, I think of the video & how happy it makes me feel because it makes me think of my Dad & his love for aviation. The words to the song are so powerful. They're a bunch of fuckin hippies" and I said "Well, then I want to be a hippie when I grow up!" and he shook his head and walked away, lol. RIP Eddie Van Halen.
Underrated? One of the most popular videos that Van Halen ever had on MTV from 5150 was a video made by the Blue Angels, using “Dreams” as the accompanying music. ... The Navy's aerial stunt team, the Blue Angels, created a video of their own for “Dreams,” which they used to promote their 40th anniversary. The video was quickly picked up by Mtv and placed into relatively heavy rotation and over 30 yesrs lo later it became a fan favourite.
