This song is a songwriters' song. If you've ever tried to write songs on a guitar, then you wish you could write a song with this many interesting and beautifully dissonant parts that weave together perfectly. If you've ever tried to write lyrics, you wish you could write something this deeply introspective while making it feel universal to everyone that hears it. If you write melodies, you wish you could write something this haunting that marries dark and light overtones. And if you've ever tried to write rock songs just to make yourself look cool, you wish you could ever be as fuckin cool as Eddie fuckin Vedder

Eddy Vedder rode Kurt Cobains coattail to stardome, everyone with half a brain left from late 80's knows that. That being said, he's still great musician!

Are you high son Eddie and Kurt are two totally different people and personalities Eddie did zero things the way Kurt did them he copied no one he is an original so was Kurt you sound like someone who was born in 2003

Im a 90's kid. But thats why Kurt didnt like Vedder and would never collaborate with him, he didnt understand why Kurt didnt like him well thats why, Kurt said Eddie was just riding their wave. Vedder said Kurt opened the door for ppl and bands like his to mainstream, that he changed the way ppl viewed music. I like vedder though he's a great musician. I did get high alot in the 90's though your right about that lol
