This might be the greatest live recording of any song in the history of music. Powerful. If this doesn't move you, you're already dead.

Anyone who says that this generation hasn't produced the sort of musical talent of generations past need to listen to more Eddie Vedder (and Chris Cornell for that matter).

Who else but Eddie Vedder and Neil Young to emote such tenderness and hope after the terrible 9/11. Still brings tears to my eyes but we are stronger now and the night of this benefit brought the world together by music. Music (real music) is a powerful tool

This song and "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who in the other 9/11 show, are the two songs that will stand out in my mind as unforgettable. I'm really surprised how touching I'm finding tonight's COVID show. I wasn't expecting that.

9/11 was of coarse a day that will live long as one really bad day, it was also, for some, a really tragic and sad day for many. since then the amount of death and destruction in response to the events of 9/11 has been, ultimately, has been more tragic.
