That’s awesome. I didn’t realize how technical he was

This has been a godsend. I recently moved from picking with 3 fingers to 4 and chose Speed of sound as my practice song. I was initially picking in ascending strings which reversed my brain. This helped a lot and gave the blueprint for me to tackle not Eddie and other songs. Thanks!

That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing. It’s a PJ deep cut but I’ve always loved it for the descending guitar line and the vocal melody. The best version is the demo with just Ed, in my humble opinion.

That’s wild! I never really paid much attention to his picking techniques because I always heavily focused on the lyrics, but it definitely produces a rich sound.

I tried to learn Guaranteed after I saw PJ live in ‘08. Spent 10 minutes with it and didn’t know where to start. My bro learned to do it some months later so I thought if he can do it, why can’t I? So he taught me. 🤣

Yeah. That def uses that kind of fingerpicking. I can’t believe I forgot to throw in Tuolumne. 🤦🏼♂️🤣

@@MineLikeMeMusic Maybe a good excuse for follow up video. More picking!
