That is how it should be done. Be humble while singing it. Beautiful!

Just listen to how the crowd reacts, loses their fucking mind, when Eddie's only halfway through the song. And his take on this is so perfect, so humble, how he sings the last two verses, makes it his own in such a beautiful way. I absolutely freaking love this.
@cloroxbleach38388 жыл бұрын
Love how he didn't belt it all out exaggerating like most singers do. He's pretty cute in this too. If only the people in the background would shut up so I can hear his beautiful voice haha

I agree, I'm not American but he really did it justice by singing it that way. He's def one of my favorite American and one of my favorite people out there. He's such a humble and great person, I haven't met him but one can't pretend to be that for so long, so I belive he is. He rules! And I like his look around Yield era, hot man.

That's the way you do it. No embellishments, no "look at me" histrionics or changing the words around, or taking 2 and a half minutes to sing it. Just sing it the way it's drawn up and let the words of the song be the star, not yourself. It figures E-Vedder would be smart enough to know this, as opposed to some of the dummies out there like the Jessica Simpsons and Beyonces of the world.

I just listened to Eddie sing the national anthem and I think it one of the most beautiful versions I have ever heard.I totally agree with truenrfindshome that he sang it with respect and didn't make some big show of it. He is so humble and as the truent that was without any instrmentation. Hey mike rogers i guess you would rather have some phoney like beyonce lip syncing her POS behind and making it it all about her and not the anthem wheras Eddie sang for real and without fanfare .Bless you EV
Ed is from the Chicago area and I think he still resides there...he's a fan of Chicago sports, including the Cubs.
