It is. If you level up the Blade to level 2 it immediately de-levels it again, and any experience points you gain for it eventually drain away, making it impossible to get a level 3 Blade and effectively making it just a normal sword while it's in your possession.

A mod that allows you to save Toroko? And even include her in the storyline( although with only a few extra lines of text)? Yes please. ^_^ Although I'm so confused with how to obtain the Good Ending in terms of who and what I need to talk to/find and who/what I need to avoid... can someone clarify this for me? I'm aware that, canonically, it's impossible to save Toroko. I am also aware that Curly, Professor Booster( and wasn't there another main NPC?) can either be saved or killed, depending on finding and avoiding certain items and people before certain points in the plot. I've read the wiki, but the amount of detail required to get the ending is discouraging, and only made things even more confusing... T_T

six years late, but supposedly you need to speed to the sand zone in under 30 minutes and shoot a secret block near the entrance of the teleporter like in 22:00 or so, moving on from there you need to keep the dog from near the warehouse on you without talking to jenka since it's able to predict the future and distract balrog and misery before they forcefeed toroko after that you just snag the medicine, give it to booster and play onward

After watching Nitjusa's tas, this is kinda a paint to watch, tbh... still good though, just could be a little quicker. for one, damage boosting is a thing, not to mention you can open your inventory to damage boost yourself vertically twice at chaco's shack to skip the need for a third encounter with queenie over in grasslands...

+astigmatify It can only be done over in sand zone, with the crocodile enemy. It's damage box is smaller than it's collision box, but the difference is only a few pixels, if more than a single pixel... It's so satisfying to watch someone successfully do a boost off of it!

there's also a trick where you can vertically boost off of bats in grasstown twice in a row by pausing. It's a sequence break that allows you to only have to kill the queen jellyfish twice, using one jelly to grab the fireball, and an extra jelly for the bomb.

Yeah, you need to say no to balrog fighting first time, no to saving sue in egg zone, and no to ( shoot I forgot ) someone else. As well as getting from The first fight with Balrog ( but don’t actually fight him ) to that block above the tele in 14:00. At least in CS+. I’m not really good at explaining, but there is a tutorial on KZbin about it, the guy made two videos, one as a tutorial, and one to prove it’s real in the normal game. I recommend you watch both

Sad Best Ending (Good Ending) [3rd] Defeat *Ballos* and Island's *floating* again but all mimiga are *dead* without mod like King and Toroko are dead and rest other frenzy mimigas. Happy Best Ending [3rd Mod] Defeat *Ballos* and Island's *floating* again but all mimigas are *alive* only mod by "HaydenStudios". And Secret Ending for Mimiga Mask (Mimiga Ending) [4th] same as *Normal Ending* .

Oh I missed one ending: Mimiga Ending: Pretty much like the normal ending, but without the Booster v.2.0 and with the Mimiga mask. To get this ending, you shouldn't talk to Momorin Sakamoto after finishing the rocket.

This is mods OLD Cave Story. But Cave Story+ on PC or other console are normal but don't have secret passage and there have 4 endings without mods. But mods have extra ending about "sad ending" for all mimiga are dead but "happy ending" for all mimiga are alive but who made mods. I may remake soon on TAP and no mods with Cave Story+ version and find all endings soon.

Mod ending is kinda... Meh.. I prefer when a story takes it's resolve all the way when it decides to leave a couple loose ends.. Explaining everything makes it kinda bland..

yeah, I'd agree with you. There's a bit much in the way of exposition in the mod in general. I like it over all, but it could use a (little) bit of editing.

When you see professor booster fall down from the labyrinth, do NOT go down and talk to him. Instead, jump to the other side when you are on the red mark. When you reach the core, don't start the fight yet. Go towards the core, you'll see something glowing on the floor. Grab the tow rope and finish the core. When you woke up, find curly and attach the rope to her. In the waterway, you will see a door. Go in there, rest there. Read the text on the computer. Then the bookshelf. Then curly. Take curly with you when you get out of the room.

If you are talking about the mod, I don't really know. ....and if not... King is supposed to be dead. There is no way to save him. If you find any method of doing this, that's either for a mod or the guy posting is lying.

1. Download the mod. 2. When you get to the Sand Zone, don’t walk up to Curly. Instead shoot up at the blocks above the teleporter. The one farthest to the left opens up a path. Go through it and beat Curly to her house. This avoids the fight with her. 3. The last dog you need to get for Jenka is the sleeping dog. 4. Whenever Balrog steals the storehouse key DON’T TALK TO JENKA. 5. When you get the cure-all, and Curly isn’t there, don’t give it to the physician. 6. Give the Cure-all to prof.Booster. Keep talking to him so you can grab the booster 0.8 to get Curly. The game itself should tell you what to do at that point I think, IK I’m late but gl!
