Brilliant Eddy. Loganair is a tad expensive, but it's a fabulous airline. There's no trolley service on the Westray flight though. To be fair, the flight lasts about a minute! You can actually see one airport from the other. Cheers matey.

I flew in a small plane, propeller driven, from St. Louis to Memphis, once and it had the same seating configuration, double seats one side, single seats the other.

Just flown with Loganair from Edinburgh to Kirkwall in Orkney this past weekend. Flights weren't cheap at £300 return which I think is a bit of a rip off but on a plane that could take approximately 80 passengers, there was only 9 of us on board so effectively had my own private plane!

You think thats small...you should do Glasgow to one of the Western Isles on Loganair, on the Viking Twin Otter! Go Glasgow - Barra and it lands/ takes off on the beach :)

Used to flybe to Birmingham from Glasgow & Edinburgh for work. Those planes were horrible, tight inside. Login air took over those scudbooks of planes.

@Eddycheeee bizarrely I couldn't tell you much about Barra and what to do etc. I got sent there for work purposes for the day!! I did manage to clock the stunning beaches though. This convo has sparked thoughts I really need to go back myself.

You need to either fly to Barra and land on the beach, or go up to Orkney and fly between Westray and Papa Westray - shortest flight in the world! I think Loganair's planes are too big to have a full inflight service - space is at a premium. Same reason why you have such a small weight allowance on their flights.

Ach, you beat me to it! The Westray flight is on my bucket list. I did fly to Barra. Logainair is certainly quite expensive, but it's a really good airline.

I used to fly LoganAir in the 80's and 90's.....the plane was much smaller and had propeller engines 😂😂 look at you with the jet engines

Thats one of the bigger planes they have, i was on the Tiree flight from Glasgow in October, an that was a twin otter 19 seater plane
