As others have mentioned, chicken wire isn't made to keep out predators. You need to have hardware cloth down low, and in your case going down into the ground and going out away from the pens to keep them from digging underneath. Also keep your goats away from the pens

Brandon, Stephanie so enjoyed this video because the workmen came to paint. If he can spray paint that room its giving me ideas and next time I will try and tape everywhere and spray paint away. I needed an excuse to buy a sprayer ha ha. The rooms and the house is coming together so fast and I know it doesn't seem that way but the workmen that have done a lot of the work are amazing men. They've all been polite, hardworking guys. They have appreciated the drinks and they really appreciate the help in cleaning up. They are so great to explain things to Brandon and let him video them working. Guys not trying to catch you goofing off. Just loving what your doing and getting a chance to see the home grow that detailed, that organized and Wow. So a Big Shout out to the Men and we appreciate everything you've done to bring this house together and get this Family in a home. Thank You Everyone!

I love the smiles and sheer excitement shining on your entire family's faces. It means alot to me, as today is rather hard, 27 years ago we lost my Dad. He was ONLY 65, which is now my age. Plus it is almost a week that I am missing 2 adult cats. Do not know what happened. Coyotes have been yipping heavily. One of the adult girls was the most loving of the 3 adults girls, and the other one is the Mommy of five, 4.5 month old kitties. I am such an animal lover, the 2 oldest girls are 4 and the Mommy is only 1 year old. I have looked non-stop for them, driven in my backyard, walked around the whole yard looking for them 2. I know others may not be bothered by my loss, but like you and all your critters, they are my fur babies and I love them all so very much. No matter what, I am more thrilled that your dream is really coming through for all of you. Now if my girls would come home, my joy would be restored. Widowhood is hard, so the cats, kitties and 3 dogs get all my attention. GOD BLESS THE EFF and surround you with HIS GLORY and GRACE.

God bless y'all I have a suggestion you can get number 1or 2 chicken wire use the frame of the chicken run and rap it with the chicken wire it would be cheaper than wood dig a 2 feet trench around the outside of chicken run put the wire in the trench it will you about little over 2 feet and attached that around the chicken run this will help with a lot of the problems this is what truly helped us we even went to the landfill and got some old chain link fencing for free just a thought God bless y'all keep doing what y'all do just saying 😎..

If you don't kill the predators they will come until you don't have any turkeys, chickens, ducks and even baby goats. They cleaned our neighbor out. There are fox that eat them also. Best to you for taking care of the animals.❤

Brandon and Stephanie, we have a chicken run just like yours. We put hardware cloth around the bottom of the cage. It gives a double layer of protection to keep out predators. We also took 2 x 4’s and put them around the bottom on the ground to keep anything from getting under. You may need to pound some pieces of rebar around the base to stop the goats from pushing in the sides. Good luck, the house is coming along nicely

Replace the cheap chicken wire on those frames with ¼" hardware cloth. Even a snake can't squeeze in there. Burying the perimeter down a few feet will keep predators from digging under

Brandon, I had the sane coop. Raccoons can actually lift them to get under. I buried wire down about 4 inches to hinder them from digging under and lifting it. Maybe electric fencing around your coop yard

put chicken wire or wire mesh about six inches below the boarder of your bird pens. Make it about a foot or two wide. Wild animals don't like to hit wire underground. It should help keep out unwanted guest. Good luck and God Bless.
