Nice looking kayak. The judges who voted Best In Show are pretty experienced people so I think it's safe to say they balance price against what the boat offers. It will interesting to see how it performs on the water.

There very few kayaks out there with visual aesthetics as nice as this one. This ought to be a dream ride for paddlers; and, the seat folding up and out of the way will really extend the cockpit area available for stand-up fishing and paddling. The whole vessel, unlike so many new ones that appear cobbled together on the run, looks like it was extremely well thought out. Kudos to Eddyline for bringing in a Kayak accessory expert for suggestions. Kayak Angler Magazine? More information, please, on the material used to make this vessel and its advantages and disadvantages compared to typical plastics used. That finish looks spectacular, by the way. Brad

That price point is reaching pedal boat dollars. The new Bonafide boat is a much better value along with a host of others.

for that price, you can get a pilot or a manta ray. if you are a die hard paddler i dont see this being 600 dollars better than a jackson or a viking. for fishing, i want an open front well for a fish bag. the removable bin up there looks small and isn't insulated. as is tradition, i need room for way more tackle than i intend to use, and since i would have to keep fish in the back, the little tackle box isn't big enough.
