The control panel is for.... You do not want to leave the inverter turned on if you're not using it to run any device..... the inverter has an idle voltage it uses to keep circuits inside fully charged.... it's a slow drain current that will draw your Batteries down to zero....! So shut it OFF if it's not being used to produce 120 volts A/C...!

Who needs an inverter when you've got a lovely box like that

So how long would one of your normal videos take. Glad you got down to the nitty gritty so quickly. Lovely looking box

Holey moley Jason...you are trying to shorten your videos and we don't even see the inverter until 14:45. C'mon man...this should have been a 10 minute vid, certainly no longer that 15 minutes. Also...when first connecting the inverter to battery...LEAVE the wire on the battery terminal until the inverter capacitors charge. Continuing to spark and you are in-rushing current that could blow out components! The beeping was the low voltage alarm. It was down to 10.1V...too low.

I’ve got the same inverter in my van so I watched your video to troubleshoot (even though that wasn’t the purpose of your video!). I haven’t a clue why (the instructions as you may well know are terrible!), but I get an overload warning (5 beeps & flash OVERLOAD) when just one thing is plugged in!! It functioned well enough for awhile, but it seems to have gone berserk around the time that I installed a Renogy 30w MPPT … but even when I disconnect the MPPT and plug one thing in, I get the 5 beeps. Just wondering if you may have a clue??

hey i thought i responded, but i dont see my reply. anyways i probably cant help much. i have been using mine since the day i got it. i have been running about 10kw per day on it every day from a solar charged battery bank. i have had zero problems with this unit. to be honest i dont even know if its fused internally or not. i am sure you thought to check your cables, if your load is too big for the 12v load you will see a voltage drop which may trigger your problem. also if the cables are too thin or have been chewed on by a mouse or what ever, but you probably know about that i would pull it out of the van and wire 12 to it from a known good source and put a load on it and keep bumping up the load until you notice the voltage drop becoming a problem, but then again maybe you have the problem with zero load. maybe open it up and look for a burnt component? i bet what ever is wrong can be repaired cheaply and easily

wait, you connected a 12v renogy mppt charge controller? is there a chance the charge controller was outputting more than 14.4v? like 24, or 48v? my charge controllers auto detects bank voltage and adjust from 12v to 48v, so i never had to set it. btw i assume you meant 30amp controller, not watt.

yes sir, i have a 12.8v 300ah connected to this inverter most of the time in the back of my suv for random electrical needs

Hello, Today I received the inverter. The problem is, I bought it with the idea that I could use the gas central heating. Turn on the flame for 3-4 seconds, and then a red LED lights up on the gas central heating, indicating that it is blocked. The gaz central heating works flawlessly in the normal wall 220v socket, but not on the inverter. I mention that I tested the phase and the null with the control screwdriver, and at the inverter it also lights up on the null contact, while in the wall 220v socket the screwdriver lights only at the phase. Do you have any idea why I can't use the gas boiler ? Any other device works. Thanks.

i am sorry, i can not help, your problem requires knowledge higher than what i posses. only thing i can add is that my inverter will only do 120v, but i am in the murica, and my outlets are 120 which is what the inverter can do, except for a few things like my furnace that is 240v, but again i havent got that understood yet.

Connect the red line first and the black line second, and you won't get sparks.
