Puts a smile on your face everytime you hit the gas! 497 hp to the wheels with 491 torque dyno tuned on the stock motor. 7 years later no problems at all. I do have the GT 500 fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a colder spark plug. Also kooks long tubes.

@@gtdaddy0537 Yes! I don't abuse it and I don't baby it either. There is a video of it on the dyno on my page. I'm going to build the motor at some point but that is by choice not becuase anything is wrong. This is not my DD nice weather only

@@alfetta2000 Still running strong. Put cams in recently mainly for sound. I did change my alternator last spring but I think it was just time not related to the super charger. I upgraded to the 2010 alternator supposed to be better. Did a write up for it on mustang forums. You just have to order a different nut for the pulley from Edelbrock. Everything else bolts right up.

Great video and overview of the Edelbrock system, thank you. I'm wondering if a cable driven throttle body could work with this system? I'm running the 2001 year ecu with a 3v swap in my 2001 car.

Thanks for the positive comment! I don't believe a cable operated throttle body would work with the supercharger without some extensive modification,unfortunately,

was told the internals will fail eventually ( rods ) with supercharger boost

Thats definitely a possibility at higher boost. This was tuned at only 5psi which is safe. If I choose to make more than 440whp,then I will do engine and transmission upgrades.

In the thumbnail thats a V6 front bumper ? I know its not a V6, just wondering why the V6 front bumper ?

Good eye! Yes,it is a v6 bumper. I was in a drifting accident several years before this video. The body shop accidentally ordered a v6 bumper, so I just rolled with it,had them add the chin spoiler and paint match that as well. Thanks for commenting!

I personally spent $10K on everything. I did some extra upgrades, but the stage 1 kit costs around $7K alone, plus labor.

You can procharge one for significantly less especially if you do the work yourself and it’ll be a little easier on the drivetrain

About $8,000 if you do it yourself. About $7k for the e-force kit which is probably the best, most complete kit out there with great torque and about another $1k for fuel pump mods and tune. Or sell your 3v and put that $8k towards an S550. Good car, great motor but doesn't sound like a cammed 3v with an edelbrock blower on it. AND everyone has a S550.

Hey im currently doing the same install and dont like the edelbrock tune. Could you post a link to the hp tuner file? Edelbrock has so many discrepancies within their tunes that they release resulting in it being tough to get a base line tune. Any info would help greatly, in a pinch trying to get this car tuned before i drive back to school.

Hey! I personally had the car custom dyno tuned by Evans Tuning. Everything was customized in real time for the best performance-unfortunately I don't have a file to share. I would recommend getting the car dyno tuned...until then, you may be able to contact HP or even Lund and get a more customized tune for your handheld tuner. Good luck!

@@JoshuaRubyk hey did you guys have any issues fitting the throttle body on? My throttle positions sensor makes contact with the water crossover well before the bolts line up. I dont see how this could possibly fit

What throttle body did you use? I used the one that came included with the Edelbrock supercharger kit and everything fit perfectly,even with my old bolt on mods.

@@JoshuaRubyk i used the same one that came in the kit, i called edelbrock and they wouldnt machine me a spacer and just said that it was weird that it didnt fit, i ended up having to machine my own part and make custom gaskets. I heard the company moved locations and the main eforce guy left the company and heard from an employee that its all gone downhill since then. I also had issues with the provided silicon intake tube they sent, it was way to big and once again edelbrock didnt offer me a solution. Im really disappointed with how they handled it all. The guy tony wont even respond to my emails or calls anymore trying to find a solution.

You get constant power. You can read up about it...it doesn’t need to “spool up” like a turbo. So yes,power throughout the powerband. Please like and subscribe!

You feel it all the way through - Edelbrock does better than most superchargers for improving low end torque by having a flipped design vs. GT500 supercharger style, giving it much longer airflow stacks going over the top of the screws instead of screws on top

Will it work with the sr performance underdrive pulleys or do I need the stock crank pulley reinstalled?

The kit is made for stock cars,but you might be able to use your upgraded pulley. I’d contact Edelbrock directly though.

You will get less boost if you underdrive, with the stock crank pulley you will achieve around 5lbs of boost. Just put a smaller supercharger pulley on for more boost, Edelbrock makes several sizes, they are around 50 bucks ! I maxed out the supercharger pulley at 2.5 inches and wanted more boost, so I went with and Innovators West 15% Overdrive crank pulley, this added about 4 more pounds of boost. Hope this helps, enjoy.

I bought a 2007 GT with the edelbrock e force supercharger. Brought it home. The guy that sold it to me tuned to not street legal when I test drove it. The guy did say he was having problems with the throttle body. No codes. After I drove it home 1.5 hours parked it then went out for a drive. I got the check engine light come on and the wrench. Code P2104. Throttle body actuator. I tuned it back to stock. Still having same problems. Is there anything I can do to fix. Or do I need to take to a tune shop? Any suggestions?

I’d probably start by replacing the whole throttle body,pretty easy and logical. If that doesn’t work,I’d just bring the car to be properly Dyno tuned to your requirements. If you have the stage 1 kit,have them tune it at 5psi. Try to get the throttle responsive and keep idle at a reasonable rpm.

@@JoshuaRubyk Yes stage 1. I thought about replacing the entire TB. I was looking in edelbrock website but could not find a throttle body sold by itself. Probably call them and get some better information. Thank you for the advice.
