I just watched half a dozen of your Latin song translations, singing along to memorize the sounds, paying attention to the words on the screen, etc. I then watched this video and knew by reading the words how to pronounce them, and since this is one of my childhood favorite songs I understood the translation better than ever. Ciao Davide. 😃 All Latin vowels are either phonemically short or long. The most widely used convention is only to mark long vowels with a macron, which is what I do. Some dictionaries also mark the short vowels. I think this is unnecessary.
