Shalom, SHALOM ❤ The Hebrew etymology of the word shalom (שָׁלוֹם šālōm) means "peace." It can also be used as an idiom to mean "hello" or "goodbye." In Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 26:3, shalom is used as the Hebrew word for "perfect." The verse reads, "You keep him in 'PEACE, PEACE' whose mind is stayed on you." Shalom Aleichem is a traditional song that many Yehudim (Jews), returning home from synagogue on Friday night. The song symbolizes the beginning of Shabbat (the Memorial of creation), welcoming the angels accompanying a person home. While we know who the winner is, I have not altered my perspective about Yisrael's Eden Golan, and I am sharing it with you, a pure soul, who is a sister in Truth about Eden Golan's flawless tribute to those innocent human souls slaughtered on October 7th of last year. There is Eurovision and Eternalvision. Eurovision is a fruit of our human nature, the knowledge of good and evil. Eternalvision is a fruit of the knowledge of wisdom and understanding. When in the history of humankind, was the Truth, embraced by Nitsche's "Herd." I remember reading what Nitzsche's often mentioned, that "herd mentality" is the democratic will to render everyone "equal in mediocrity." Eden is phenomenal!! The lyrics are sublimely meaningful and simple. I have watched this over a hundred times (no exaggeration). I actually listened to it in one day, alone, from morning to sun-down. How can a song and the singer evoke the same trembling traveling upwards from the spine accompanied by weeping. Are the angels weeping with me? Is this song divinely inspired? Eden's singing these lyrics alone transcends Eurovision. A Masterpiece!! I love your insightful comments! Eden is only 20 years old and she went through so much during Eurovision. She got booed a lot and you can’t hear it in the official videos because they deleted it with AI but you can hear it on footage online. but that was not even the worst.She could not even leave her hotel room the entire time. She got threats and security was insane. After she got booed the first time, she and her team specifically trained how to perform perfectly while being booed. If this is what she can do at 20 years old, she is going places, definitely!

Eden is not a dancer, but she used to be a professional gymnast! Also she speaks three languages fluently, and it’s only that I know, maybe more. I do understand that Jews are being hated for millennia, and Israel is under scrutiny since before it even existed. People do talk about the song and Eden. A lot. Just not for the right reason. Luckily, the song won 1st place in the semi, getting 15 douze points (perfect score) in total from the other counties + the rest of the world audience. The corrupt juries, on the other hand, snubbed Israel on purpose and wouldn't give it any points. If they did, with the audience votes Hurricane would have won the entire thing! Still, we got 5th place and an affirmation that the majority is with us, just quiet, and that the vocal minority are just that - a vocal minority. So it's a win for us and we're super proud! By the way, do you know that your name is Hebrew for "peace" and "hello" or "goodbye"?

Amazing insight! With all sentiments put aside, i listened to most of the songs in the competition and Hurricane is one of those songs that stood out to me! You should know that Aden won this semi-final thanks to the votes of the audience. The judges, who are political, ruined her victory in the final, 52 points from the judges and 323 in getting second place in the fifth audience at the end. There were protests against her all week, the Eurovision broadcasters refused to give a score, they ignored her, and today the judges admit in interviews that they were afraid that Israel She will win, therefore 25 countries that the judges voted for gave her 0 and were ignored and precisely in these countries the audience gave her 12 points, at least 15 countries gave her 12 in the audience.
