Thank you for the sane and rational comments on this whole “controversy”. Maybe one day we can be united by music, maybe one day we will share the stage with the lovely singers of the Middle East. But for now, the best thing for Eden to do is stand brave and tall in the face of those who oppose her presence, to sing her heart out in a competition she knows she has no chance of winning. For many of us around the world, and in Israel, all we hope for is to hear her lovely voice on stage, see her dreams come true, if only to share what she loves best, to sing and to dance. The song itself, is a tribute to those whose lives were taken before their time. It’s a tribute to those who are mourning, those who haven’t had a chance to mourn. It’s a song to let us know, it’s okay to be sad, we’re sad too, we’re confused and angry and scared too. We’re in this together. We have to hold onto each other if we have any hope and of brighter future. In my humblest opinion, this song represents the best of Israel. It represents what most Israelis feel. That love is better than hate, that even in the darkest times, we can persevere, we can build a better future together.

Eden is phenomenal!! The lyrics are sublimely meaningful and simple. I have watched this over a hundred times (no exaggeration). I actually listened to it in one day, alone, from morning to sun-down. For me it's the best song this year. Unfortunately it is shadowed by politics. I'm really concerned that it will be booed. Also having standing audience around the stage will not be helpful cause someone could jump on the stage. Than hosting in Malmö which has huge Muslim population is a risk, to many red flags.

Eden Golan and her Dancers were amazing., Voted 3 times in the Finale for her. The bashing of Eden was cruel and unfair. Bambie Thug (Ireland) can bring her witch show to Iran. She should take care of course. The 2 State Solution was offered to the Arabic People from the VERY beginning. It was not Israel who rejected and dismissed this. Eden Golan was not even born when the problems started. Well a show like this in Countries like Iran, "Palastine" - I dont know when this could ever happen as women are not even allowed to perform and sing on a stage.

I'm glad you are not living in Israel anymore. instead of condemning Hamas you are talking shit about the Israeli government, honey, every other government would have done the exact same thing after the brutal attack of October 7th on Israeli civilians, if not hit harder. as an LGBT person who wants other people to accept him and not being judged by the cover, you shouldn't judge a government just because it has religious people in it, and even if you have a critique on this government for good reasons you shouldn't mix it with the hate for Israel that is not relevant for what government is in power.

The fact that you think I’m showing hate towards Israel is purely defensive or completely out of context. To my opinion, the Israeli government is a terrible government, the worst Israel ever had. They also need to be held accountable for the horrors of October 7th and the fact that 6 month later, 133 hostages are still held in the hands of terrorists. This government neglected the safety of Israelis in front of terror and lacking any vision for a future where we can safely exist. So I judge a government by its actions, not the cover. And I refuse to judge people by their governments. That was my point. Eden should be welcomed and celebrated on stage just like any artist. Boycott this and cancel that is not what would make this world a better place. And on regards to my queerness, my existence is not for anyone to except or judge. We can disagree and it’s totally ok. @@mamaeurovision I actually appreciate your adult comment and I'm sorry that my comment was angry because I believe you have good intentions, but I think you are wrong. there are many people in the security system and in the law system and the Israeli media that have the same if not more responsibility to what happened in October 7th, because the law system is not letting the government to rule, the media obsessive covering of the protests against the government that lead Hamas to believe that the Israeli society is divided and weak which gave them hope and will to attack us, and the heads of the security system are people who belong to the left and and they had the wrong conception that Gaza is not a real threat. I think our government is doing the best they cant too free the hostages. many of the hostages were released thanks to the government and those who are still not free are there because of Hamas and Biden that prevent Israel to put more pressure on Gaza and force Hamas to free the hostages.
