One week after her Eurovision performance, Eden Golan performed the original (more "political" as the EBU thought) lyrics to her song "Hurricane" at a special event in Tel Aviv's Hostage Square.

It’s 30k deaths but you must understand that half of that number 15k are the deaths of terrorists. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t count the deaths of Hamas members as they have no value and aren’t innocent. It’s a war and death happens but understand that these deaths happen because of Hamas and not Israel. Israel has no intention of killing innocent but only targeting Hamas. Hamas hide within their civilians and uses them as human shields, fire rockets and hide their weapons in schools, hospitals and houses. It’s difficult for Israel to target Hamas when they use their own civilians as shields.

I, as an Israeli Jew, actually think that there is no need to put special emphasis on who is Jewish, who is Christian, who is Muslim and who is of any religion. Well, we might have to ask, why do people have hated Jews more than other religious groups? It has been always a question how a folk like Germany and many parts of Europe could hate a group so much that they could commit such a terrible genocide. We often consider Hitler as the only motivator, but we don't look that even the regular person were defending the motives to commit this genocide. We could learn a lot about the current Israel vs Palestina situation to explain what has happened in the 40s, the two main things I would say we could learn from this situation: - You have a whole country (Israel) where people are normal, but are still able to victimize themselves and commit a horrible genocide and the propaganda is so insane that they 99% of the Israeli will defend the horror of the actions they are committing. The people have true intrinsic motivations for killing babies and are able to defend it. - This is the first time in post world war 2 history that we might understand the motives how we could hate the Jewish so much that people can have anti semitism motives. The Jewish folk who admire and approve the genocide are probably one of the most horrible people this earth knows. I don't want to have any hatred spread out. But, just want to show you that we sometimes can look into the present to understand the history and the other way around.
