The First time I saw Marc's documentary about his experience in fighting the HORRORS of the dog meat industry....I was BLUBBERING like a BABY....his testimony is SO heartbreaking...touching...deep.....moving...and crushes you to see the pain he has experienced with being exposed to this NIGHTMARE!!.....if ANYONE deserves the title of HERO...it would be him....he is SO BRAVE ..the risks he has been taking for the sake of saving these precious souls from DOOM!....This man is an ANGEL of MERCY and HOPE for these sweet doggies....WE LOVE YOU MARC!!!....May God ETERNALLY BLESS YOU....and give you strength to continue this BATTLE from HELL! When I first saw cruelty of a video in the China meat trade of a sweet lil dog that walked sweetly to the person to be petted instead to be blunted to death. My heart and soul went out and I can't ever forget that dog plus the other terrified dogs that saw the others killed before it was their turn in that video. I don't see how anyone could do this especially when an animal can look at you sweetly or terrified. I cry when I recall what happened. I will remember and I want people to understand it still goes on even with cats that go through this massacre. I hope people can stop this. Teach people this goes on and help animals be rescued. These are stolen pets that deserves so much better. End animal abuse!

Agreed. There's too much of a culture that favours animal sadism especially in the east -- it is not just in Yulin but in the dog and cat meat torture trade entirely. And it still goes well beyond that industry (live frog/fish consumption, live donkey meat, the "three squeaks" consumption of newborn mice alive, and more). There is a theme of animal torture being a deliberately implemented element. We must promote heroism and empathy if we are to stop this horrific trend.

6:23...I'm actually taking over a slaughter house and blowing it up in Cambodia, ...I did it 6:35...I documented the torture there.... in return I am starting a vegetarian restaurant for them. This family did 30-40 dogs per day, now a legal contract, they signed not to slaughter any animals again. 7:43 ...vietnam, tradition 100 to 200 dogs per day, owner says he feel nothing, Angela says that is psychopathic, a complete personality disorder. 8:35...about 10 large restaurants shut down, (in chinese saying closed by Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation) but only for the festival, not permanently. 9:33...because there are no animal cruelty laws, ...that is what were pushing for, and or banning the dog and cat meat trade. (the cat meat trade is less, because cats are harder to catch). 10:00 ....What can people do to help, ... "awareness is the most necessary, a lot of people don't want to read my post, but it is really not that gruesome, they are very sad, but I think when you share the post, talk about it and acknowledge that it is happening, is the best thing that can be done.' If everyone did a little more it would be easier for the people who need the help. Thanks Angela, and of course thanks to Marc T. Ching, and all the activists working on this.

Actually, "the humans" cry often about ALL species suffering, that's why Marc and I are both vegan. This #bestlocationever is Marc's holistic pet health food store with many vegetarian and vegan options for pets. It's also the site of where he brings the dogs he's rescued from torture and death to save their lives after leaving his family behind to risk his own life. PS: you have no idea what is in those "bags". Many companies now have vegan options for pets even tho they also eat meat in the wild. You should also know that many dog food companies use left over animal parts from livestock that humans kill for HUMANS to eat. Therefore a byproduct of those not choosing to go cruelty free. Many also add euthanized pets from shelters to the pet "food" they sell, causing toxicity in those foods. Do your research and put your time toward helping not hindering. There is nothing "so funny" about this topic.

We are talking about PURPOSEFUL torture as a meat processing method. Last time I checked, most countries have humane slaughter laws. Please educate yourself to learn the difference about The Vile Dog Meat Trade.
