Dying Light 2: Break Out of Chemical Area (Reach Downtown Early)

Bypass Chemical Areas and Go Out of Map in Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Also learn how to go to other areas early (like Downtown in the second map) by walking over THV chemicals without losing health. Normally, Dying Light 2 prevents Aiden Caldwell from going past the chemical boundary areas, but there is way to make him immune to the THV chemicals. Video shows the exact steps needed to break out of the chemical barrier and go out of bounds to activate a safe house close to second map area. Then the video shows how to reach Downtown early (and visit other areas like Garrison). Gameplay on PS5 version of Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

How did you get to Old Villedor in the first place from downtown if you didn't have the metro line?

@@edepot I did have the Old Villedor metro line unlocked, but for some reason, the one at Downtown didn't get unlocked in the little while that I was there. I probably didn't explore it enough so that it was unlocked.

I went out of bounds towards Downtown with story missions left in Villedor. I marked this mission as active in my journal, jumped off a roof, died, and selected "respawn at last story point." Easiest way to get back if you're in the same scenario.

When you go to the other area it makes you go out of the map to get there the 1st time And it's only like 4 or 5 hours into the main story if you don't do the sidequest which you could just come back to with the paraglider and do faster afterwards I honestly wish I did that but I did 90% of the side quest before I left Old Villedor And went to the central loop You can also level up your park or to get the run up wall ability And use the triangle to turn aroundAnd actually skip the entire mission because I did it on accident Went on the story mission and then had to turn around and get back in there to beat it

I recommend playing through the main story normally first before doing wacky stuff like this. Afterwards, go crazy!

Yes you can! As long as you have that train icon, you can always fast travel no matter what

I know this is patched on the current version of the game but I like playing on 1.0 and you can make it back in reverse by using health kits to run through the chemicals in front of the bus (the drop down immunity glitch used earlier doesn't seem to work there) but does further in so you can drop down and become immune again to walk up the chemical hill and get back to the ledge you jump down from by the bus... I thought I had soft locked my save since I dont have the tunnels open yet, but you can get back fine, with about 10 health kits (fully upgraded so its quicker to use)

Hey guys i will tell what i did to go back ...i know some of u maybe dont unlock respawn spot in Quarry end city so first i go to the garrison city and jumping to die then i respawn in this stuck bus spot then go to nearbiest chemical area and die there , now dont respawn just hit the revive at dawn. i hope this working with you too ❤

After you complete the prologue the prologue map basically disappears and is replaced by the villedor map. I've broken out of bounds and gone towards the far north where the prologue map should be. You can see the white bridge in both the prologue and the actual game and head over there. However if you go there you will see some of the same mountains from the prologue but everything else will be gone. Also in the latest update they added a timer which will countdown and teleport you back to a save zone if you go out of bounds. So sadly it is no longer possible to explore out of bounds in the most recent version of the game

Mark an old villedor mission as active in journal, jump off a roof. When you die, select "respawn at last story point." Another way is to simply die near an Old Villedor green zone (closer than a central loop green zone). The third way is to use my other video in this channel going out of Central Loop.

Any tall place. Don't unlock any more safe zones. Go to a tall place and jump off to force the game to respawn you when you die. Second option is to completely close the game, turn off and on your console, and reload the game, when you press continue, it will try to load and put you back in the first zone
