You saved me, I started practising past papers and topics by grades on Maths Genie last year, but at the beginning of the year my college maths teacher thought I would fail. I did a foundation paper and got a grade of 5. I am truly thankful to you, your channel helped me become more confident in my ability to do maths. Question 21: How does A also got another 2 and B got another 3?? I'm still trying to understand this but I can't( Help, please🥺

A is 2 to the power of 3 and b is 2 to the power of 2. So that means they’re 3 twos in a and 2 twos in b. The 2s cancel each other out leaving it with one 2 on each side. It’s hard to explain but once you get it it’s good
