Omg thank you so much. I take edexcel igcse ICT and we use kompozer. But kompozer is really old so it doesn’t work on any of our devices and class rooom computers. So this will really help me for igcse

You're welcome! Kompozer is obsolete now but it's the only free and easy to use software out there, now that FrontPage has disappeared. Good luck with your exams!

Thank you! It might be possible, for example rollovers etc. although bear in mind that the software is now over 10 years old so will be lacking some of the features of more modern editing software. If I was building a website for commercial purposes, I would choose an online editor myself.

You can build a website in Publisher, but the problem is you cannot edit the HTML easily - specifying background colours in Hex is more difficult for example. Ask your teacher what software you can use in the exam, maybe they could get KompoZer installed?

Got to know that my exam venue is not going to provide /Adobe DreamweaverKomposer/MS expression web 4. Only MS Publisher. I'm well aware of how messy HTML code it generates. What can I do at this stage? I have sent an email to Pearson, requesting them to ask the venue to provide Adobe Dreamweaver, but they are yet to reply. What can I do at this stage? Exam in 2 days.

Sorry to hear that. Publisher not great. If it comes to it you will have to use it but you will be at a disadvantage when it comes to HTML. Keep contacting them and make a complaint if you get no reply.

Why do you wish to make a webpage using tables? Surely you can make one without or if you have to just insert a table and the elements around it. the problem with using a table is it does restrict what you can and cannot do a lot.
