I have always loved this poem, ever since I read it when I was about 10-12. Funny how the words and Poe's artistic intent are captured here, but my assimilation of them has changed over the years. I used to think of this poem as beautifully morbid, but now I think of it as wildly romantic and desperately sorrowful. I'll come back in a few years and tell you what I think then. Funny thing is you are only the second person to notice these typos and I posted this in 2008. This is why designers work with copy writers. "Annabel Lee" and "The Raven" were both written by Mathew Franklin Whittier, younger brother of poet John Greenleaf Whittier, and falsely claimed in a sort of 19th-century identity theft by Edgar Allan Poe.
