Fine tuners! I want to remove fine tuners from my cello and change the pegs to geared tuners like Whitman or Planary. What are your thoughts?

Buy from eBay, Alibaba, and Taobao to attain superior instruments European and the West buys from and at least quadruples in price. The Western Luthiers are 2nd best and wholly over priced.

No serious player buys from those online retailers. They test play an Instrument for several days before purchasing. There are good Chinese luthiers too. But am not sure if they sell on Alibaba.

@@ario7965 What happens is with players you may or may not be yourself buy them through the alleged, so-called experts and reputable violin family of bowed string instruments sellers that bought your instruments from Chinese Luthiers. Ancient aged Romanian and Chinese Woods are far better than the 200+ Stradivari Violins made obsolete due to tampering to death. $00.25 cents of Boxwood Carved Violin Tailpiece $500.00 not tuned and baunted also so-called Cremonese Experts in the parys and accessories bought from India and China..Plush master quality violincellos, violins and violas which are dreams to to experience under your chin and your bow comes to life and becomes your newest appendage. It is not difficult to develop every phase of your instrument which makes you a better performer and help to your section like great principals.
