This should have been sent for Latvia this year. The more videos I watch from all the entries this year, the more I think this song just has something that the actual selected song does not. Cherry Absinthe has great melodic chorus. With just a bit of production, it could have done really well, and get Latvia into the actual finals.

I don't get how they picked Carousel over Cherry Absinthe, which I think was the best of the bunch. I would have been happy if they pick on of the fire songs like Alekss "Fireworks" or Double Faced Eels "Fire"

Should've kept it "Fire", the chorus was less repetitive. Also should've been alone on stage, the backing vocals kind of ruin it. This was suprisingly stronger in the auditions, I'm really sad it didn't win but I do understand why
