My wife took me to see Dead Can Dance in San Francisco right after we got married, I had no idea! Lisa Gerard’s voice permeated my soul. 16 years later that woman died in my arms, she so loved Dead Can Dance. We would play this music on our sailboat while we swung in the hammock drinking wine up on the main deck. I cry every time I hear her voice, that oh so beautiful ghost that still haunts my soul to this very day. I hear this music and can still smell Karen’s hair, sweet memories of her flood back and for just a brief moment a tender mercy of happiness flits across the arc of what’s left of my life. I’ll never love like that again, but this music helps me remember…

This is what shuns my depression away into plain old sadness, and sadness I can deal with. I can wake up to sadness and be about my day but depression, I don't wake up to that. I lay in it.

What sad words you speak. Tell me do you have a family or a girl at least?

@@KittredgeRitter Got a family!! It's all good, I don't think it's sad at all. It is what it is, no point in moaning about it! Just gotta do what you gotta do, like listen to a bit of Lisa :)
