The concept of dislocation is quite hard but your two video ( Edge and screw dislocation) is amazing and easy to understand each and every thing.. Thank you professor.

As for dislocation motion I don't see how are we getting figure c from figure a and what is "shear" to be precise?

Is the dislocation going from top to bottom, or from out of the page into the page? I don't understand what we are supposed to look at. Except for that, I love your videos.
