I for one like this deck, thinking in terms of Nemesis and only using half of it for any of my hoard war bands. I like that it can be paired with aggro or hold depending on what you want.

There's definitely some fun, good stuff in there - but I agree, it's not come together as much as I hoped. Pros: - There's a lot of my beloved Grymwatch referenced on the cards 🥰 - Classic strong staples like Sidestep and Great Fortitude - I appreciate the (few) ways to make fighters Tempered without having them take wounds first Cons: - My word some of those objectives are difficult in relation to the glory you'll earn! Sneak into Position, Behind Enemy Lines - having to get into position and then hold that position until the opponent's power step is a big ask for 1 glory. Power in Numbers is fun, but again can rely on a lot of work for a 1-glory card. - The power deck feels like a mix of cards aimed at naturally-tempered fighters like the Sepulchral Guard and the Grymwatch, but also with cards aimed at big-wound-pool small-model-count warbands like Morgok and the Truthseekers too. I get that they want to make decks that _can_ work with any warband, but I'd prefer they'd committed to the bit and made this deck all about low-wound-count horde warbands - and maybe released another complimentary one alongside it aimed at low-model-count elite warbands too. That would've been fun. Anyway, just my initial thoughts for what they're worth 🙂 Thank you as always for the review, I always enjoy hearing your thoughts on Underworlds and will certainly be picking up Edge Of The Knife when it's out next week! Well worded, we seem to have a very similar impression. Its certainly useable as a deck to mix and match with but not really very cohesive for rivals. Objectives are just not up to par and as you say, the power cards are abit all over the place.

Second card, surge: "Two cards that focus on holding treasure tokens...." - the second card (Behind Enemy Lines) does *not* refer to treasure token at all, but to feature token, which is exactly what you suggest next... 2:45 - 2:56ish.

Youre right. I guess the "holding" threw me off there as standing on feature tokens traditionally hasnt been worded as holding.

Does the plot card also count your opponents fighters? Because it just says while using this “fighters”… are tempered. If it does count your opponents then cards like trial of the tempered are much more viable.

@@duesexistat5016 it does, hence the end phase that all fighters should be tempered (which still isnt very good)

I am glad this deck will work with the big Pirate. But some of the end game objectives are really bad.

I guess it could but not really bettee than anything else. I think a couple of,the surges are rather rough aswell but as a complementary deck in nemesis, sure.
