Maybe its the fact that he so desperately wants to help, but his bloodlust adds a layer of difficulty. not to mention how people are afraid of him, hating him despite his genuineness. Andy plays this beautifully and its gutwrenching to watch

I can't believe it took me this long to realize that each of the characters represents one of the deadly sins. But since there are only 6 player characters, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Virgil represents gluttony while Jericho represents envy. That's pretty clever of them to make the character representing gluttony a familiar.
