Whoever was responsible for this movie's marketing really screwed up. I remember watching the first teaser or trailer, and being really unimpressed. Also, the manga this movie is based on is named ALL YOU NEED IS KILL. Why would you change such a kickass name?

Great Movie! I read the japanese manga this movie is based on,befor watching it. The manga is called "All you need is Kill". It is an awesome manga, that is not turned into movie with ease. But "Edge of Tomorrow" realy managed to take the essentials of the manga and make it a great (Hollywood) movie. Also a very solid perfomence by Emily Blunt playing Rita Vrataski. For everyone, who is a Sci-Fi-fan, Tom Cruise fan or who likes strong women, this is a must see.

Despite significantly departing from the source novel, it was actually written very well as a culturally transplanted adaptation, and perhaps even better in some areas. One of the better scifi films I've watched. I hope they don't get cocky or overly ambitious, and cock up the sequel.

I rented this from Redbox which has no special features on the DVD. This is the first movie I have seen in a long time which was good enough to go looking for extras online. It is also likely to be the first movie that I have bought in a while too.
