Thanks for the explanation. A good idea. I will use this to read the throttle value change in FPV. Although I added a short vibration at 50%, but while flying I often forget where I am in the throttle ... and have to go back and forth to feel the vibration... Thanks again.

Lee a little tip for you - assign one of the knobs on your radio to control screen brightness, then next time you are filming your radio you can quickly adjust the screen brightness so that your camera can get a proper clear exposure

It amazes me that there are not more videos on this topic. Excellent and thank you for it. I'm looking for a way to report my altitude AGL if I'm more than 350 ft over my initial position. I've got a telemetry value with my Spektrum SkyID so that is there. Also, I'll be adding a speed readout when I'm above 0 mph every 10? seconds or so.

You could setup a logical switch that detects when you are over a certain height and use that logical switch to play the value.... Happy flying

this is great, i'll try to make mine call out voltage where i have telemetry available :3 so far i only have a "low battery" warning when it reaches it but i never know when that time comes. having a switch or have it automatically call out every .3V or so would help a lot :D

Do you have a complete set up guide for edge TX? Or should I wait 6 more months for new interface? I have many transmitters and will the fly sky dark night be supported? My Taranis and Jumper are supported but I'm still running open TX! Thanks for all your help! I've followed you for the last 3.5 years and all your videos give back to our hobby 10 fold so thank you Leigh! If you ever come to Australia or I get over to the UK I'll buy you a beer and a damn good meal mate!

The setups and logic/screens work in the same was as OpenTX at the moment so all of my videos on OpenTX are still relevant for EdgeTX. I will be making more videos on it as the GUI changes and evolves for when those videos become less useful.. Happy flying!

Several years back i sat a spectrum tx and and several KK boards Quads up on a high shelve ; life happened. Several months ago i retrieved that equipment and went to KZbin to check on advancements in the HOBBY ??? Learning C+ would be easier !!!! Is this hobby actually attracting beginners ( and keeping them ) like it did 10 years ago ?

Hi Lee can this set up be used with a curve, at the moment I have S1 controlling my gain on a s6r receiver I have to flick a switch to get the number this is with Open TX, How would it need to be changed Cheers Pete

Lee: I've noticed you are using an Eachine TX16S. I have one too. One problem I've noticed with mine is that the roller is sloppy & loose, making the reliable selection of menu options difficult. Other reviewers have commented on this defect. Have you noticed it with your Eachine TX16S? Do you know of a solution? Thanks! - Jim

Maybe a replacement roller? I've not had an issue with this radio here, it is the one I use for testing only...

Good tip on the sticky. Following on, how would you read the mode, waypoint hit etc from an Arducopter rather than the set mode on the radio - of course confirming the mode has been set on the copter.
