One thing I particularly like about a manual vernier. It can be calibrated at 0 and trusted across it's range as a reference to check other tools because the impressioned scales cannot be altered, only misaligned. Granted, they are not standards but they are far more trustworthy than dial or digital calipers.

Just your techniques for soldering those small connectors etc. Fat fingers and aging eyes. I will look on INAV videos for them. I’ve been flying RC for 30 years and have done basic lipo connector soldering but that’s about it.

What should they be using?

Frisky receivers and radios are still used by thousands of pilots, who aren't interested in changing over to ELRS and TBS receivers.

So I been following this video. To keep it short. I experienced some motor issues ( not moving) after picking out the frame quadcopter. It seem to go the trick. But when I go to motor test or plug in the battery. Nothing happens. Just a few things I can tell you that I set to 0 was checking arm, brd safety switch and default are set to 0. And yes I have the para at 153 and my switch for arm is set to 7ch. Not sure what else to do…
@Painless360Күн бұрын
It could be ESC protocol setting, power issues if you are using the same hardware and the same process as shown in the series, it should work. Best of luck
@bluecavemen23 сағат бұрын
@@Painless360 my ESC protocol setting? how can you be sure. i thought it would have to do with the arming ch7. i can hear the thing beep when i switch ch7. the motors so start running.

Hi Sir Need solution for my quad I m using Inav and speedybee f4v4 and geprc rad mini 1w vtx irc tramp protocol On osd it only shows 4 levels 25 100 200 400 I set on 4 level but I only get 200mw max Unabe to set 500 and 1000mw
@Painless360Күн бұрын
What troubleshooting have you already done?
@khemrajdeulkar9803Күн бұрын
@Painless360 1) without any uart connection using manually button available on vtx I get all desired output level 2) Then I connect to uart 3 which is spare uart then I M unable to set power values using manual button. But osd shows four values 25/100/200/400 and using osd set it on 25 I get 25 , set it on 100 I get 25mw, set it on 200 I get 200mw set it on 400mw I get 200 mw. 3) next I try to connect on uart 1 ,as fc smart audio pin marking as T1 and enable vtx on uart 1. I M getting same results like 2nd steps. 4 ) In Inav I set it power on 4 and reboot, Until first arm it shows 25 on osd But after arm it shows 4 power level but led on vtx only blink for two times means 200mw.

When you talk about the Air O3 EOL issues, what does that mean for users? Is DJI going to stop updating support for the unit or is something else going to become limited for it? Just trying to understand what the term EOL actually means when it comes to functionality.
@Painless360Күн бұрын
As DJI don't share information like that, and make their money from the hobby by selling hardware, we'll have to wait and see... Happy flying

@ I know you are a WS fan, but just curious, in your personal opinion, do you think it’s safe and wise to still purchase an O3 unit if I were to find a great deal on one?

I have to disagree on the voice recognition commands! 😏 Imagine setting up a rescue mode SAFE recovery button bound to screaming at it something like, "no, the sky's THAT way you f$#@ing bas-&$ard!", and it just rights itself, levels the wings, easy peasy. 🤣

Hi Lee, tks for the lot of videos helping me as a beginner using iNav! Unfortunately the video for uneven throws did not solve my avtual problem: I am building (printing) a flying wing where the constructor asks the throws for aileron to be lot higher than for elevator. Any help possible? greetings from switzerland
@Painless3602 күн бұрын
Yes, that is a mixing issue rather than a uneven throw thing. Normally you mix elevator and aileron as 50/50 in the mixer in INAV, change this to something like 60/40 in favour of the roll control and it'll help. You may need to tweak the ratio (always make sure they add up to 100)

@ tks a lot! Will try out, but for sure not touch the rates in transmitter
