Thanks John, another valuable video. I had a problem a few months back, my radio was going into emergency mode and lock up whenever I selected one particular model. Long story short, my SD card files structure was a mess. I opened MODELS folder and saw all my models PLUS another copy of models folder. And that folder contained all my models and another copy of the models folder. I found the same problem with SOUNDS. Got rid of all that extra stuff and my emergency mode problem went away. I think the problem occurred when I was real new to the radio and EdgeTX and was copying stuff in the wrong folders and was getting away with it. Now I regularly go into my SD card and make sure the file structure is intact, no extra subfolders, etc. your other video on SD cards for newbs is also excellent.

Since buying MY tx16s, & shedding the rektum trash (ix20se) I had, the tx16s is so many times over, 1 million percent the tx of every other tx available today! Spektrum is overpriced garbage IMHO! & I speak from experience! On another note, ALL your videos helped me get started in open/EdgeTx! Love this channel!

I just ran the EdgeTX Flasher tool and it built all the contents to the SD card for my specific radio, very quick and easy.

Most of all, take out the original SD card you get with your radio and put in a proper quality one. Not only will it be much larger, but it will also be of decent quality. Too often peoples' OEM SD cards fail in these radios.

Maybe you can help me. I just acquired a Radiomaster 16S MK2. There are no models on it yet. I heard about the OEM 256mb card, so I bought an 8gb replacement. I'm sure it's more complicated than me just popping out the old one and putting the new one in. Can you walk me through what I need to do?

John's video explains how to download the SD card contents, so I'd just follow that. One thing to be careful of is to make sure you have the same version of SD card contents as the version of Edge or OpenTx that your radio has, or upgrade the radio firmware too. @@larrylutsky181
