There was TVP in the sauce. I guess it was deceiving to the eyes, but everyone is ready for people to go back to eating meat. Like nope! I'm actually happy🥰

Completely the wrong decision. I was vegan for 14 years and dealing with the same anxiety, adhd, and other mental health issues this woman and so many others are dealing with. Eventually she's going to connect the dots and realise this diet is not optimal for humans and is what's causing these issues. Vegans really need to be compassionate against the animals that should mean the most, themselves and other humans.

I have a theory: neurodivergent people like us tend to question social constructs more, and therefore we actually think about why are we doing things we do and how to improve. So maybe many of us are vegan out of the general population? There’s not much data to back this up yet because it would be extremely difficult to obtain since so many people with neurodivergence are never diagnosed. If you read this, what’s your opinion? Also: I have adhd too and because I have anxiety I was prescribed a different type of medication, that works completely different than Vyvanse. So far it’s working for me, it’s been almost 2 years now. (It’s called Strattera, it works like an antidepressant where it must be taken every day to work)
@gabork50553 ай бұрын
There might be some truth to it. I tend to try these sorts of foods and check these so that i would have more options, i still think a mixed diet is the best for me though since that's what worked best so far. I have a myriad of things i suspect undiagnosed (some pretty serious ones too)and some mental illnesses also run in the family so i guess i count as ND. I don't know a single person beside my brother who does that and we're more affected than the rest of the family, i think ADHD might be one of those. I also tried living mostly only on rice and vegetables once, didn't work out well since there's a reason it's mostly a side dish with how much acid it produces.😂 Also different kinds of nuts, very hard on the stomach (especially cashews though they are nutritious and really good when mixed with other foods)-most of these otherwise healthy foods can't be eaten on their own. Ofc. vegan diet works for others and all the power to them, the hardest thing i find in these is that you always have to plan your diet and also most vegan processed foods available in shops aren't always as healthy as advertised.

I ate a lot of protein and so called "balanced" plant based diet. Lentils, quinoa, beans, buckwhat, plant sources of omega 3s, variety of fruit, veggies, berries, blabla. I still got massive problems, and after 14 years I quit. My list of problems was long, and going back to animal sources of nutrients has been a game changes. Watching before and after pics of myself was horrible. I used to believe I looked so well on plants, but in reality my face and eyes had become sunken and wrinkly. Part of aging, I thought. But 1 year after eating animal protein again, structure of my face changed, no more sunken eyes, a TON of hairgrowth. Easier to see the changes when your brain is not malnourished on a vegan diet.

In answer to your question re tomatoes I googled it as my ADHD brain needed to know: The easiest way to remember the difference between the two is by paying attention to their name! A Grape Tomato is shaped like a typical grape - most grow to be a longer, oval shape. In comparison, a typical Cherry Tomato is shaped like a cherry - most grow perfectly round!
